This course covers child protection and safeguarding and meets the annual requirement to ensure staff are aware of safeguarding and annual updates. This training course is in line with the latest government guidance, including ‘Working Together to Safeguard Children 2018’ and ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education 2019’. It is also essential training for all new staff as part of an induction programme.
The course covers in-depth issues such as child sexual exploitation and how to report concerns. The training fulfils the safeguarding training outcomes as specified by OFSTED.
The course also includes the changes from September 2020. Remember – the 2019 guidance remains statutory until 1st September 2020.

The course should take approximately 90 minutes to complete with downloadable resources, staff meeting slides and notes, section recaps, questions to test your understanding plus a certificate for your CPD record.
